never save mankind. Intellect alone cannot make us find GOD, and without GOD, man never attains his true self or destiny.

The Master's Silence of over twenty-seven years, in this age of endless words, intellectual debates, competing metaphysics, personal vilification and abuse of the Truth, has a very profound significance. Being Spiritually Perfect, he has not undertaken silence as a discipline for himself, but obviously for humanity as a whole. It is a symbol of the Divine Grace that will come from beyond the mind to redeem the mind, and recharge it with the Light and Power it so sorely lacks. This Light and this Power is Love . . . Love from the Source . . . Divine Love that is utterly pure and selfless . . . Love that is identical with Life itself.

For a long time, for all our technological advance, we have lived in a true kali-yuga or Age of Darkness. But every age is a cycle, and revolves into an Age of Enlightenment, of spiritual rebirth. And this rebirth of man is always guided by one of these great Illumined Souls, who functions as a living link between man and GOD. They bring down the power and grace of GOD into our hearts which are dry and empty . . .they make us feel what philosophers and theologians can only preach . . . they change the human heart . . . perhaps only of a few in their own lifetime; but, as one of BABA'S disciples says, "This Love passes from heart to heart" . . . like leaven, and ultimately changes the whole spiritual rhythm of mankind. So it has always been; so it always will be. Zoroaster, Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, Mahomet (Mohammed), all worked not only for their own time but for eternity, for Divine Love is outside of time altogether. It is the heart of time, and when our own time runs slow (cold, cruel, feeble, or confused), God restores the balance by the pulsing radiations of Love through the heart of one of His great Avatars. They are all One in Consciousness . . . in Love, Bliss and Knowledge; but they are focussed in different planes, at different times, through different personae, for a different age.

Speaking from the heart, from the heart's intuition and experience, we feel not only is MEHER BABA the true Avatar of our own age, but will prove to be one of the most extraordinary of all time; that never before has God let descend such a pour of the Divine Love and Grace, because mankind is at the most crucial juncture of its whole evolutionary and involutionary history. We must either Love or Perish . . . and God helps our choice through this man. May we choose with him to Love . . . to be Awakened!      P. F.
