My silence and the imminent breaking of my silence is to save mankind from the monumental forces of ignorance, and to fulfill the divine plan of universal unity. The breaking of my silence will reveal to man the universal oneness of God, which will bring about the universal brotherhood of man. My silence had to be. The breaking of my silence has to be —soon.
IMPRESSIONS OF THE AUSTRALIAN SAHAVAS WITH MEHER BABA

During the Australian Sahavas in 1956, Baba said he was holding Sahavas in India in November, 1957, for his lovers in the East and West. Baba had told many they "must" come, and a list was compiled of all who had agreed to attend, all who would come to India to the Sahavas promising to love and obey Baba "Sahavas" means 'God's Divine Love being received with love by His lovers.'
Eventually we were told that Baba would hold a separate Sahavas for the Westerners; at Myrtle Beach in America in May, 1958, and in Australia in early June. Many people from Australia had planned to go to India, but when we learned that our Beloved Baba would visit Australia, we rejoiced; as now others would have the opportunity to attend the Sahavas who were unable to visit India. It would also be a wonderful experience for the children to have Baba's Presence for several days.
We had received messages that the Master's physical condition was very poor, but regardless of this he would give the Sahavas as planned. When Francis Brabazon was told of the Australian Sahavas, he had to obtain a suitable place to hold it. As it is cold in the southern parts of Australia in winter, it was thought to hold the Sahavas in the warmer climate of Queensland.
Francis obtained a beautiful property about 75 miles north of Brisbane, the capital of Queensland—a pineapple farm of 80 acres on Kiel Mountain, with glorious panoramic views of patterned farmlands, distant mountains, winding rivers and the Pacific Ocean. Francis, with helpers
