One lady said she could not squat, as her knees would not bend. Baba remarked: "I am glad I am in good company, as I too cannot bend My knees." Yogi Shuddhananda Bharati did not arrive in time, and Baba asked; "Where is Shuddhananda Bharati? I want him near Me. Is he in Yoga-samadhi, or what is the matter?"

"I want all of you to take care of your health, otherwise, there will be no Sahavas in the real sense. There will be coughing, sneezing and disturbance. When you take baths, take precaution; dry your body well and thoroughly before you come out of the bathing-cabin and wear dry clothes and do not expose yourself; otherwise you will catch 'flu' and also infect others.

"This Sahavas will give a good opportunity to the Gujaratis to learn Telugu language and the Andhras to learn the Gujarati language."

Every time Baba said something by His gestures, the same was repeated in English by His interpreter Eruch, and then and there each sentence or idea was forthwith translated to the congregation in Telugu and in Gujarati by translators, who were also the Sahavasis, chosen by Baba for the purpose of translation. The mike was used.

"In this Sahavas, you just look at Me and I will look at you. This is Sahavas. Sit silently gazing at Me. Is this not Sahavas? What do we mean by Sahavas? Sahavas means companionship—intimate companionship."

The Gujarati translator used the expression Dosti. Baba said this was the correct word and means "friendship."

"What does 'friendship' mean? Friends start by asking `How do you do?' They inquire of each other and of people and friends at home, and so on. Let us begin the day by My asking you all about your health and whether you all slept well last night. Those who have not slept well, put up your hands."

Some put up their hands and Baba was also among those who put up their hands. "There is some consolation. There are others who kept company with Me, as I too did not sleep well last night. So, I too had to raise My hand. How are you all? Is there anyone who feels ill or sick?"
