As I am the PIVOT of the Universe, the full pressure of the universal upheaval will bear on Me, and correspondingly My suffering will be so infinitely overwhelming that the WORD will escape from out of the Silence.

Remain completely resigned to My WILL, and do not let any circumstance or situation shake loose your grip from My 'daaman.' I shall not come out of My Seclusion until I break My Silence. The Divine Moment for My giving the WORD is not far off.

THE EMPEROR OF HEARTS

To be at the Lotus Feet of Meher Baba is to be at the very source of bliss and to be admitted into the divine folds of His embrace is to receive the direct Grace of God.

Out of His infinite mercy, He is pleased to probe into the minutest details of daily activities of all those who come to find solace in the Master's Silence, and without omitting the smallest things of life, Baba makes them feel “at home" with Him. Men and women, young or old, come to Baba and He solves all their problems through spiritual insight in a twinkling of an eye, with a magnificent sense of humor. And Baba also takes care to see that the most abstract topics of spiritual importance are explained in a very simple and lucid style, giving examples and ordinary tidbits of “home truths" to be properly understood by all. The simple and the wise feel equally at home with Him.

To take an instance, one day Baba wished to convey what “True Dedication" was. He first asked one of His lovers to detail his daily routine. This particular person who had promised to work and dedicate his life for Baba and His cause just a few months back, happened to state that very recently he had joined a socio-political movement to which he devotes four hours daily. While appreciating the best intentions of the person in joining the movement, Baba asked him to pause and ponder over the subject by reminding him about his previous pledge to dedicate his life to Baba. In a most emphatic manner, Baba gave out these instructive words, "True dedication means total surrender and complete, implicit obedience.
