In our ecstasy at Thy Grace and Love in permitting us to participate in pada-pooja to Thy sacred Lotus Feet today . . . and to receive the sacred water or Charanamrit―may Thou enable us to realize that the milk, honey and water offered at Thy Holy Feet are churned out of the tears of repentance by us all (for ourselves and on behalf of all others not physically present) for every lapse on our part; and may Thou enable us also to realize that we now shed tears of joy and gratitude for the forgiveness Thou alone can and would grant to us.

Today, we celebrate the Birthday in this physical Form on this physical plane, of the Ancient Eternal One, Who is really without any birth or death, and to Whom every day is a birthday. We pay our homage to Thee in all humility and love, and we wish that Thy Mission and Avatarhood be quickly and widely spread all over the Universe.

May Thou enable us all to realize that our placing our heads at Thy Lotus Feet and taking Thy darshan is a token of our cheerful, loving surrender and a re-pledge of our loyalty and obedience to Thee now and ever after. May we submit this united and joint love-offering placed at Thy Feet (to be used in any manner Thou pleasest) as also a token of the unity, goodwill and love amongst us all. . . May we realize that we are only parts of the whole entity of the human kingdom, and that we are but channels for thy Avataric work; and may Thou bless us all to be worthy instruments for the New Humanity of which we shall be a part.

The physical suffering and humiliation is because of us; and it would be in vain if we on our part do not become worthy of Thee. To that end, O compassionate Almighty Good, may Thou be pleased to strengthen our virtues and eradicate our weaknesses and grant us courage, wisdom, and steadfastness to hold on to Thy daaman. In Thy divine trade, may we all, now Thy liabilities, be turned into Thy assets. May the “special train” into which we have been put by Thee, reach its destination by Thy Grace!

Still undeveloped as we are, and incompetent to comprehend fully the significance of Thy sayings, may we be permitted to add that we have resorted to Thy Name-Repetition as the only simple and safe Taraka-mantra (saving prayer), since Thy name and Thou are not different―so as to free us from the bondage of illusion and to realize that we are the Self of all selves, in the quickest possible time. All glory to Thee and may Thy Kingdom come on earth!
