messages of a Perfect Master and this "love" was "Divine Love" and not "movie star" love. They looked a bit puzzled about the Perfect Master, Divine Love, etc. So Mona explained further that this was "spiritual love," pertaining to the Spirit and the Spirit was not found in the bottles but in one's own self. They still looked foxed. However, they bought the pamphlets saying that it did not matter what "love" it was, but it was "love" and they liked to read about it. We all had a good laugh. Thus went on Baba's work of spreading His name and message, through love and laughter and pathos.

Conclusion

The beautiful Baba-stall predominant in that picturesque surrounding was alone of its kind, a spiritual monument in that whole atmosphere of glittering glamour of stone, metal and mortar. Baba's message, "I have come not to teach, but to awaken" was painted in bold letters on the stall, which millions read, questioned, thought and argued about. This very fact shows how Baba did His own work of awakening humanity lost in that maze of material magnificence. Till the very closing day thousands of people all over the world got Baba's darshan and heard His name and message. That it was a unique work of His own doing there is no doubt.

As the closing day neared many came visiting the stall a second and third time, saying that they were very happy reading the wonderful booklets they had bought, and they would like to read some more. Many came asking us as to when and where they could have Avatar Meher Baba's "darshan," and some others came with further queries and questions. One such soul asked us as to what was in store for humanity with the "Ashta Grahas," (the eight planets congregating in one house in February) — the same situation when the battle of Kurukshetra was fought between the Pandavas and Kauravas. What had Avatar Meher Baba to say about it? What was He going to do about it? I quoted Baba: "God has never failed humanity in its dark and critical days. The greatest danger to man is not from any natural catastrophe, but from himself." I told him that in those early days, when the eight planets congregated and the battle of Kurukshetra was fought between the "good" and "evil," Lord Krishna, the Avatar of that age, was present on the battlefield as the Charioteer to guide the battle to its successful conclusion, and now, at this juncture Avatar Meher Baba is with us to guide us and redeem humanity.
