Surely countless occurrences surrounding Baba and his work might be called quasi-miraculous. And his work with the LSD problem is only one infinitesimal act of his play in this Avataric role, and we may never fully understand its true scope and purpose. But from it, we can perceive the action of a guiding force quite beyond imagination. Even the limited human mind can infer the guidance of a Master Planner and Executive. The LSD truth offensive is done by him alone, mysteriously executed by the force of his love and divine compassion. It is a "one-der­full" example of his mastery through service to humanity.

 

Yes, our culture is being swirled into concern with consciousness expansion. And Baba makes the alternative infinitely simple:

 

"Taking LSD is harmful physically, mentally, and spiritually. But if you take me into your heart and love me as your real Self, you will find me in you as the infinite Ocean of Love. And this experience will remain continuously throughout eternity."

THREE KINDS OF SEEKERS

  1. One who says, 'I know God is within me, and I have to seek and find him'. But he has no courage and his rebirths continue.

  3. One who says, ‘I know God is within me, and I have to seek and find him within myself.' He has courage and obeys the Master. If the Master says, 'Drown yourself,' he will throw himself into the river, but the Master saves him, for he is there.
