c) Once, A. H.'s sister had some gastric trouble. His mother asked him to get some sour limes. A. H. was relaxing in an easy chair reading a book at that time. He did not feel like going to the market and so thought, if Baba is omnipotent, He should send some sour limes now. A neighbor suddenly sent a few sour limes.

A. H. got one after another experience proving Baba's omnipotence, but none could still satisfy him that Baba is God in human form. One day, he went into his room and said to Baba, "May be there is a God and you are that God. May be, I am deluded. If I get an experience directly from you, where no third person is involved, I will accept you." After dinner, he sat on his bed to relax. Suddenly, the whole room was pervaded with milky white light. He looked for the source of the light but could not trace it. He tied a cloth on his eyes to exclude external light yet he saw the light. He felt Baba was giving him a direct experience which he had wanted. Then, in the white light he saw beautiful colours, beauty and grandeur. He was lost in this experience for some time. Suddenly, a circle moving at high velocity was seen coming towards him. Fright gripped him. He felt the circle was going to take him away from his family. He shouted and ran out of the room. The experience being over, he repented for not believing in Baba in spite of about a hundred and fifty experiences. He then slept peacefully.

With the dawn of the next day, his mind was again up to tricks. Could all that he had seen be a hallucination? Perhaps, it was no spiritual experience but pure and simple imagination. As his doubts all came back, he was walking towards his home, and met Dr. K. (a Baba lover) and told him about his experiences. Dr. K. said. "Believe in Baba now or you will miss the boat for 700 years. You may write to Baba."

A. H. got home and wrote his first letter to Baba. Eruch, on behalf of Baba, replied, "Baba says that it is your very absence from His presence that gives you a feeling that you are separated from Him. Baba is unimaginably close to your 'self ' and it is your very imagination that makes your search futile. Stop imagining, stop the search and find Him as your own true Self within you! . . . It is the mind that keeps the game of hide and seek going birth after birth. Mind plays and plays havoc too!! Realization of God is beyond the domain of imagination, for God is Truth and not imagination! That point in Time and Space when imagination stops, God is Realized. To stop imagining, mind must be annihilated. Love, pure unadulterated Love, alone can overcome the mind and find God as the True Self of all. Baba wants you to love Him more. Baba sends His love to you."

He wrote to Baba again asking for orders. After writing the letter, he wondered whether Baba had accepted him. In Baba's reply. Eruch wrote, “Baba sends His love to His DEAR Amiya Kumar." This was now the turning point in his life. Baba had given him a very long rope and proved not only His omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience, but also His infinite patience. A. H. would attend to his job hut his mind was not there. He would keep kissing Baba's picture whenever time permitted. Day and night he thought of Baba. Sitting in a moving train, he felt Baba was outside. He wanted to jump out of the train to meet his Beloved! Between him and the wineshop of his Beloved there seemed deserts to cross where his only drink was his tears. Tears flowed in abundance. There was now only one longing, ‘When will I see my Beloved.' A. H. wrote to Baba asking for his darshan.
