Baba took some fruit juice from a bottle; then remarked, "I am not taking medicine. It is pomegranate fruit juice. I take it as medicine. I also take medicines when I want to. There are three doctors in attendance on Me all the time, one allopathic, another homeopathic and the third ayurvedic. I take medicines from all three doctors, and My illness still continues!

"This whole physical plane of Mine is now shattered through two auto accidents (one in America and the other in India). Apart from these impacts or auto accidents in America by strenuous tours, fasts, walks, journeys on rough and rugged country roads in bullock carts, and ‘mast-contacts' in all sorts of places, My physical frame is shattered. But I have to suffer for the whole Universe. Unless I suffer for the Universe, how can I ask you all to suffer for others?

"I am the Ancient One, the One Beloved residing in the hearts of all individuals. Undoubtedly, I am the Ancient One. I reside in all. Therefore, if you could but love all others, make them happy, serve them at your own cost and at the cost of your comforts, that would be loving Me—that is, Me who am the Beloved residing in individual hearts.

“Now, we will have prayers. After the prayers, all of you be seated. Let the ladies come first and one by one embrace Me. Thereafter, the gentlemen are to come one by one, and embrace Me.

“Don't repeat the prayer while it is being read. Just concentrate on Me and be silent. We are now to repeat the Prayer on 'Parvardigar'—the One God who resides in all equally."

The Prayer on Parvardigar and the Prayer of Repentance was read as translated in Telugu and in Gujarati—all, including Baba, standing. Only two men chosen by Baba read it from the dais on the mike and the rest stood concentrating on Baba silently. Baba too joined in the Prayers and the Prayer of Repentance. Then He said:

"Now I want you all to go out and ease yourself, have a wash, or answer calls of nature or have a smoke or do what you like for five minutes and come back. This embracing will take nearly 4 hours and there is enough time for every person to have his or her chance. No one will be omitted. Be free, feel easy and quite comfortable when you embrace Me. Your mind should not be on other things, but instead, be on giving love to Me and taking love from Me. Those of you in the back rows, —there is enough time and you all can go and come back after some time.
